Orthopedic Hand Surgeon Opportunity
MercyOne Genesis is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic team. This position offers a full-time day shift with a level III trauma center. The role includes shared evening and weekend call (1:8) and benefits from dedicated advanced practice provider support. The team is highly collaborative and multispecialty, with strong institutional infrastructure and leadership support.
Skills and procedures required include fellowship-trained expertise in the full spectrum of hand and upper extremity care. The practice encompasses management of complex fractures, nerve and tendon injuries, microsurgery, arthritis, and elective hand procedures. There is strong institutional support with dedicated OR time and experienced APP coverage. This opportunity allows for building a thriving, high-demand practice serving a large referral base, with access to the resources, technology, and multidisciplinary support needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
Compensation and benefits include a two-year guaranteed salary of $739,410, with production incentives beginning at 10,650 wRVUs. A straight production compensation model starts in Year 3, with earning potential exceeding $1 million annually. Additional benefits include a $100,000 recruitment incentive, relocation assistance up to $15,000, generous paid time off, including 4 weeks PTO, 1 week CME, and 6 paid holidays, a $6,000 annual CME allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance beginning on day one. The position also offers a 401(k) with employer match and 457(b) retirement plan, professional liability insurance coverage, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
