In 2003, Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello opened Caf Lift, housed in a historic, refurbished factory in Philadelphia's Callowhill neighborhood. In September of 2022, they brought Caf Lift to downtown Haddonfield.

Open 8am-3pm daily, Caf Lift Haddonfield provides the same excellent and legendary brunch-focused food to South Jersey. The menu evolves seasonally, and all ingredients are sourced from responsible growers, and hyper-locally whenever possible. Caf Lift proudly serves quality coffee drinks, expertly prepared with roasted beans created by the owner and a local roaster. With superb food, remarkable beverages, warm service, and an amazing location, Caf Lift Haddonfield is sure to be a hit! We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Barista

$10 per hour plus tips

Job Duties:

• Brewing coffee and tea daily throughout the shift.
• Operating our espresso machine and producing coffee drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos in a timely manner.
• Serving guests at our 4-seat Counter.
• Preparing large batches of cold brew coffee, chai, and other beverages.
• Maintaining a clean and neat workspace.
• Rotating stock to ensure product freshness.
• Ownership of station.
• Communicating with fellow FOH staff, our kitchen team, management, and guests.
• Thorough closing responsibilities to ensure cleanliness.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of how Espresso machines operate.
• Ability to produce a large number of drinks in a timely manner.
• Knowledge about coffee, espresso, and tea.
• Friendly and kind to both guests and coworkers.
• Latte Art abilities are not required, but they're pretty rad!
