Student Assistant

Must be enrolled as a student at Methodist College to be considered for this position. To provide assistance to the Admissions and Recruitment team with the enrolment of new students.

All Federal Work Study employees are required to complete 5 hours of communication service during the Fall and Spring Terms. Facilitate the Admissions Communication Plan through the sending of letters, admissions packets, e-mails, etc. Act as a back-up receptionist for the Student Services Window. Answer phones, e-mails, and assist internal and external MC constituents. Assist in the planning and execution of Admissions events and New Student Orientation. Conduct applicant file audits. Assist with the scholarship awarding process through data entry and validation. Perform special clerical projects. Other duties as assigned or required. Interact effectively with students, staff, faculty, and external clients of MC. Interact effectively and courteously with culturally diverse groups. Communicate accurate information to recipients.

The compensation range for this position is $15per hour - $24.32per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
