Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding manufacturing company specializing in the production of panels and switchgears. We are seeking skilled electrical wiring assemblers to enhance our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly and wiring of panel boxes and switchgears, handling both low voltage and medium voltage systems.
• Connect cables, crimp wires, and conduct mechanical assembly to construct the units.
• Utilize personal hand tools and power tools to efficiently build the units.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of electrical wiring experience.
• Proficiency in line ladder diagrams is a must-have.
• Experience in electrical assembly of panels or switchgears.
• Familiarity with low voltage and medium voltage systems.
• Possession of personal hand tools and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in building switchgears is highly valued.
• Exhibit leadership skills and take initiative.
• Willingness to work extended hours and potentially every day of the week.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized facility of 100,000 square feet, expanding rapidly and acquiring more space. The shop is non-air-conditioned but equipped with many fans to ensure airflow. The environment is clean, though bustling with products and materials due to the high volume of work. The team comprises around 40 internal employees and 25 temporary staff from other agencies, including mechanical and electrical assemblers, welders, warehouse workers, and quality control. Adhere to a dress code of steel-toe shoes, jeans, work shirt, and safety glasses. The day shift operates Monday through Saturday from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm or later, typically working 12-hour days, six days a week, with potential Sunday shifts. There is also a second shift option from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am, though night shifts are not actively hired but available for interested candidates.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deer Park, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
