.Net Developer

Job Description

A client in the Nashville, TN area is seeking a .Net Developer to join their team. This developer will spend roughly 50% of their time supporting and enhancing existing legacy .NET applications, troubleshooting issues, and making updates as needed. About 25% of their workload will focus on the company's timekeeping solution, including SQL development and support, with potential involvement in their Kronos environment. The remaining 25% will be dedicated to new development and application enhancements. The team supports a wide variety of applications ranging from older legacy systems to newer technologies, so this person should be comfortable jumping into different code bases, working across the back end, database layer, and occasionally front-end technologies such as React. This role is less about being an expert in one specific technology and more about being someone who is motivated, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of whatever work needs to be done.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET.

• Experience working with SQL Server, including writing queries, stored procedures, and troubleshooting data issues.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to support and maintain legacy systems while contributing to modernization efforts.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated work ethic, accountability, and willingness to learn. - Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks.

• Full-stack development experience.
