Cooks Needed ASAP

Cook Position

National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 28 years of industry experience, is now seeking reliable, hardworking cooks to support our client's facility located in Des Plaines, IL 60018.

As a cook, you will play a key role in food preparation and production while ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food in large quantities following standardized recipes
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are met
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements
• Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment
• Assist with inventory management and waste reduction efforts
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and production-ready
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
• Days: Monday through Sunday
• (Two days off per week; schedule provided by supervisor)

Hourly Pay:

$18.55/hr. (BIWEEKLY PAY)

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Previous cooking experience required
• Must have and wear slip-resistant shoes
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Available to start immediately
