Forklift OperatorHot JobRomulus, MI 48174OverviewSalary Range $18.00 Hourly Level ExperiencedDescriptionWe are seeking full time experienced Forklift Operators with engine rack handling experience to join our team. This role requires the ability to safely operate a forklift while handling and stacking automotive racks using proper alignment techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the facilityLoad, unload, and transport automotive parts and racksStack and align engine racks using guide pins (rack-to-rack alignment required)Ensure racks are properly positioned, secured, and stableFollow all safety procedures and company policiesMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork efficiently in a fast-paced production environmentCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsQualificationsPrevious forklift experience required (sit-down preferred)MUST have experience stacking and aligning racks with pins (engine rack / dunnage / returnable container experience)Ability to follow directions and work independentlyStrong attention to detail and safetyReliable attendance and punctuality is REQUIREDAbility to lift, push, and maneuver materials as neededMust be able to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment
