Location: Parma Health Center Biweekly Hours: 16 Shift: Rotating Schedule: Varies Start/End Time: Rotating Weekends: N/A Call: N/A Primary Patient Population Underserved population in the Greater Cleveland area Trauma/Emergency Patients Stroke Patients Cancer Patients Orthopedics, Podiatry, Neurology, PM&R, and more. Operating Room & Pain Management (Parma & Brecksville only) Bone Densitometry (Parma Only) Primary Skills Utilized/Learned Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology IV starts Produces quality CT/XR images in a variety of settings Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain basic understanding and comfort On the spot critical thinking Effective communication skills Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision Works well both independently and as part of the CT/XR team Personnel Multi‑Modality Tech Will Work With The CT/XR staff work closely with Nurses, Physicians, Respiratory Therapists and other care team members throughout the hospital to provide the best care possible for all MetroHealth patients. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period Preferred Qualifications One‑year related experience, as well as advanced certification through the ARRT in CT Physical Qualifications May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
