Ensure customer satisfaction through technical expertise, efficient service, regulatory compliance, and continuous professional development. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems to OEM and dealership standards. Complete quality repairs and document work accurately. Perform inspections and road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Collaborate effectively with service teams to optimize workflow and customer service. Maintain required certifications and adhere to safety compliance standards. Continuously update technical knowledge through ongoing education and training. QualificationsRequired Education: High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, licenses, and manufacturer training. Preferred Education: Certificate or Associate degree in Automotive Technology or Automotive Service. ASE certifications, manufacturer training, and ongoing technical education strongly preferred. Required Experience: Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive mechanical, electrical, HVAC, drivetrain, brake, transmission, and engine performance systems. Valid driver's license meeting dealership insurability requirements. Preferred Experience: Dealership or high-volume automotive service experience. ASE certifications in transmission, engine performance, HVAC, drivetrain, brakes, diesel diagnostics, CNG vehicles, and manufacturer-specific training preferred. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with scan tools, repair procedures, documentation, teamwork, and time management. Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and a valid driver's license. Preferred Skills and Abilities: ASE-certified expertise in automatic transmissions, engine performance, HVAC, manual drivetrain, brakes, diesel diagnostics, and alternative fuel vehicles.
