Academic General Anesthesiology (NTT)

Opportunities include: Outstanding work-life balance through flexible work schedule Flexibility with call rotation assignments (averages 1 call shift or less per month) Competitive compensation with outstanding university benefits Options for internal moonlighting for increased compensation The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking candidates with the expertise, interests, and qualifications to join one of three following teams of anesthesia professionals: General Anesthesiology (regional anesthesia experience a plus) Pediatric Anesthesiology Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Anesthesiologists provide anesthesia care via medical direction with residents and CRNAs. Additional duties include performing classroom and/or clinical instruction to residents and medical students. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO, ABA Board Certified in Anesthesiology Candidates will be evaluated on: experience in general and regional anesthesia for adult patients or anesthesia in outpatient surgery centers. Prior background and experience in academic medicine not required. A Missouri license will be required to be credentialed with MU Health Care prior to start date.
