Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week. RN/PCU Ratios: 1:2-3 for all shifts. Years of experience required: 1 (PCU experience required). First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend required: Every other. Certs required: BCLS, ACLS. BSN preferred. Is on-call required? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, within service line, including to MS units. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: No. Local radius rule: Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility. Pending License accepted: Yes. RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days. Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned. Special Requirements: Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required. Vents, IV start, Telemetry experience required, long term vent, weaning, pulmonary rehab, trachs. Special Procedures/Unit Details: phlebotomy, vent management alongside RT, preferred ABG draw, trach management, port access, central lines. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Teaching / Level Trauma. Total Staffed Beds: 1266. Scrub Navy Charting: EPIC. Parking: Monthly parking passes available. North Surface Lot-$73 (price and availability may vary). Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot- $63 (price and availability may vary). Clayton Taylor Garage- $73 (price and availability may vary). For orientation: park in the Laclede Garage (4929 Forest Park Ave, St. Louis Mo. 63108) for which there is a $15.00 charge. Pull a parking ticket and take with you. Barnes does not validate or reimburse for the charge. Wear scrubs. If you are working a straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). If you will be working a day/night rotation, you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.
