Medical Front Office Specialist

firstPRO 360 is assisting our client in the Sandy Springs area to fill a Medical Front Desk role. This is a very important role as you are the first point of contact for patients. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients with a welcoming and professional demeanor Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage calendars Verify insurance information and collect co-pays/payments Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and providers Handle incoming mail, faxes, and general office correspondence Assist with daily office operations, including filing, scanning, and maintaining front office organization Ensure HIPAA compliance and always protect patient confidentiality Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in medical office administration a plus Prior experience in a medical front office or healthcare setting strongly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification a plus Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Professional, friendly, and dependable with a patient-centered approach #J-18808-Ljbffr Firstpro Recruitment, LLC
