Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit social service agencies with programs and facilities serving Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties.
We are currently seeking a Full Time Case Manager for our LIHEAP/USF Outreach program in Newark, NJ.
Job Duties:
- Develops relationships with local social services and public benefit agencies, shelters and faith-based and community-based organizations serving low-income, at risk and homeless families
- Participates in conferences, workshops, special projects, and staff meetings
- Helps individuals and families to apply and obtain LIHEAP/USF benefits
- Provides outreach sessions, visit buildings, agencies and other locations where client can be helped
- Manages time and works independently
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 year of related social service experience
- Valid NJ driver's license
- Bilingual preferred
