This is a highly visible individual contributor role with significant exposure to senior leadership and direct ownership of capital procurement initiatives.The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and managing approximately $50M in annual capital project spend, supporting equipment, construction, and site expansion activities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead sourcing and procurement activities for capital equipment, construction, and facility-related projectsManage supplier selection, negotiations, contract execution, and ongoing vendor performancePartner closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Project Management teamsDrive cost savings, risk mitigation, and project delivery objectivesSupport site growth initiatives and major capital investment projectsDevelop sourcing strategies that ensure project timelines and financial targets are achievedQualifications4-6+ years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience focused on CAPEX spendExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, building materials, chemicals, mining, heavy industry, or related environmentsStrong contract negotiation and supplier management skillsProven ability to manage multiple capital projects simultaneouslyComfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
