Social Media Marketing Intern

Are you passionate about animals and savvy with social media? Buddies is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to combine your love for animals with your passion for digital marketing, all while gaining hands‑on experience and making a positive impact on our furry friends and their owners. You'll embark on an exciting journey filled with creativity, collaboration, and cuddles! NOTE: THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION AND UN-PAID INTERNSHIP. Requirements Qualifications: A genuine love for animals and a desire to make a difference in their lives through creative digital marketing efforts. Excellent communication skills and a knack for storytelling that will captivate our online audience. Familiarity with popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, and a willingness to explore new ways of engaging with our community. Basic knowledge of social media analytics and a curiosity to learn more about tracking and measuring performance. Self‑motivated and eager to dive into projects, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred but not required). Availability to commit to a set number of hours per week for the duration of the internship. Responsibilities: Immerse yourself in our animal‑loving community and assist in creating captivating content that celebrates our fur‑babies and the joy they bring to our lives. Engage with our online audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries with warmth and enthusiasm, embodying our passion for animals in every interaction. Explore the latest trends and strategies in social media marketing, bringing fresh ideas to the table and helping us stay ahead of the pack. Collaborate closely with our business owners to develop and execute exciting social media campaigns and initiatives that will leave tails wagging and hearts melting. Dive into the world of social media analytics, learning how to track and analyze performance metrics to optimize our content and drive engagement. Share your creativity and passion for animals with our team, contributing ideas and insights that will elevate our social media presence and make a lasting impact.
