Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Indian Trail, NC. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management. Trading from the Southeast Trade US market hours from your local time zone — the NYSE opens at 9:30am local. The Southeast — from Atlanta to Miami to Charlotte — has become a serious financial corridor over the last decade, with major bank operations, sovereign-wealth offices, and a growing community of independent traders. What you will do Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach Build consistency and scale capital based on performance Why options Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.
