Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts exams.

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively, addressing any technical issues when they arise.
• Diligently document procedures and manage patient records within electronic medical systems.

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
