Datastage Developer

Immediate need for a talented DataStage Developer. This is a 11+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Raleigh, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Morristown, NJ (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $40 - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain DataStage ETL jobs according to specifications.
• Work with Business teams to understand the requirement, design, develop and test DataStage jobs and deploy into production
• Provide support for production DataStage jobs as needed.
• Develop new DataStage jobs to load data into the data warehouse.
• Test DataStage jobs for accuracy and performance.
• Deploy DataStage jobs to production environments.
• Maintain documentation for all developed jobs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information system, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4 + years of experience in DataStage development.
• Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, or Oracle ETL.
• Strong SQL skills and other relevant coding languages.
• Experience with Hadoop is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expert in DataStage solution conception, design, and deployment.
• Outstanding analytical & problem-solving abilities.
• The capacity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
