Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot. The role involves building microservices, REST APIs, event-driven solutions, database integrations, and reliable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot 2.x .
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
• Implement event-driven and messaging solutions using Kafka and MQ .
• Develop robust data access layers using Hibernate and SQL-based persistence.
• Work with Oracle databases, including writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
• Implement data serialization and exchange using JSON.
• Ensure application security, scalability, performance, reliability, and high availability.
• Contribute to job orchestration and workflow processing within the platform.
• Enhance application logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and overall system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technical delivery and program objectives.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions.
• Support production systems and troubleshoot complex application issues.

• Support cross-functional teams and contribute to program governance through regular status reporting and RAID management.
• Follow established PMO frameworks, processes, and governance standards.
• Build strong relationships with business, technology, vendor, and leadership stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication, expectation alignment, issue resolution, and timely decision-making.
• Coordinate effectively across technical and business teams to support successful delivery.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot .
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, MQ, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Hibernate and SQL-based persistence.
• Strong Oracle database and SQL query development skills.
• Experience working with JSON and data serialization.
• Understanding of application security, scalability, performance, and high availability.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with enterprise-scale Java applications.
• Knowledge of job orchestration and workflow processing.
• Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to PMO governance, RAID management, and stakeholder reporting.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments is an advantage.
