The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale healthcare or government technology projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and state teams to ensure successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end implementation of MMIS modules and componentsDefine and manage project scope, timelines, budget, implementation plans, and risk mitigation strategiesCoordinate vendors, project managers, and stakeholders through effective project governance and master schedulingMonitor project risks, deliverables, and overall project performanceEnsure all project requirements and deliverables are successfully metManage resources across multiple vendors and state teams through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification phasesProvide regular project updates to leadership, executives, and legislative stakeholdersAnalyze project progress and proactively address challengesRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of Project Management experience in technology projects within healthcare or state government environmentsStrong organizational and leadership skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing project deadlines and critical pathsAbility to gather business requirements and prioritize analytics, reporting, and data initiativesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve project issues earlyExperience engaging stakeholders and driving project success through collaborationPreferred QualificationsExperience working with state government agenciesMedicaid program or Medicaid agency experienceExperience with data and system migration from legacy systemsChange management, training coordination, and communication planning experience
