Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts, full-time
• Set orientation every Monday (includes 6 hours paid, 12 total orientation hours)
• Floating as needed
• Weekends typically every other
• No on-call required; holidays as needed

Qualifications:

• Active IL RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of robust ICU nursing experience (preferably with Cardiac-Neuro ICU exposure)
• Proficiency in EPIC charting
• Strong clinical references and current licensure verification
• Up-to-date resume and completed skills checklist

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert patient-centered care in a CNICU, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 2-3 based on acuity
• Monitor, assess, and document critical changes using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes for complex neuro and cardiac conditions
• Float to other ICU areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
