Job Description Job Description Leasing Manager Los Angeles, CA $71,000 / year + performance-based incentives, commissions & bonuses OVERVIEW A high-energy, luxury, fully furnished student housing community is seeking a driven Leasing Manager to lead leasing performance at a 149-unit market-rate community in Westwood. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for driving occupancy, managing leasing operations, and delivering an exceptional resident and prospect experience. This position is ideal for a leasing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, student-focused environment and is motivated by performance-based incentives and hands-on leadership. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead and manage all leasing activities for a 149-unit luxury student housing community Drive occupancy through effective leasing strategy, follow-up, and closing techniques Manage prospect pipeline, tours, applications, and lease conversions Train, coach, and support leasing team members to improve performance Oversee leasing reports, traffic tracking, and performance metrics Ensure a high-quality prospect and resident experience from first tour through move-in Collaborate with marketing efforts to maintain strong leasing velocity Support renewal strategy and resident retention initiatives Maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies Assist with resident relations and day-to-day operational support as needed WHY YOU MATTER This role is critical to the success of the community. Your ability to drive leasing performance, lead the leasing process, and create a strong resident experience directly impacts occupancy, revenue, and overall asset performance. WHAT IT TAKES 2–3+ years of residential leasing or property management experience Proven ability to close leases and drive occupancy Strong leadership or team mentorship experience preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume leasing environment Familiarity with property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or similar platforms preferred IDEAL CANDIDATE TRAITS High-energy and results-driven Confident closer with strong sales instincts Professional, outgoing, and personable Organized and performance-focused Comfortable working in a student housing environment THE PERKS! $71,000 base salary + performance-based incentives, commissions & bonuses 25% housing discount 401(k) with company match Prime Westwood location near UCLA
