Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
• One year of experience in performing CT preferred
• Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire
• Will consider a seasoned X-Ray Tech to train to CT Tech

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform various CT scan imaging procedures to diagnose medical conditions in patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
• Operate CT scan equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities.
• Obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.
• Determine suitable anatomical posture/position for patients and shield them accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and other imaging staff as needed.
• Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department.
