What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, PLC-controlled, and automated manufacturing equipment using a systematic, root-cause approach.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC sensors, drives, controls, and other industrial systems with precision and efficiency.
• Use electrical schematics, technical documentation and hands-on diagnostic skills to identify problems and restore equipment to operation quickly.
• Respond to equipment issues and minimize production downtime, helping minimize disruptions and maintain plant productivity.
• Perform preventive maintenance on welders, cutting systems, conveyors, automated assembly equipment, and other critical machinery.
• Identify potential problems before they become costly breakdowns.
• Partner with production, engineering, and leadership to improve equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.
• Take ownership of problems from initial troubleshooting through repair and follow-up.

Job Details

1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime as required

What You'll Do: Own Equipment Reliability and Troubleshooting

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other industrial control systems.
• Use electrical schematics, technical documentation, and hands-on diagnostic skills to identify root causes and restore equipment to operation.
• Respond to equipment issues and production downtime with a sense of urgency, helping minimize disruptions and maintain plant productivity.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support and other resources when additional expertise is needed to complete complex repairs.
• Take ownership of problems from initial diagnosis through repair, follow-up, and prevention of future failures.

Drive Preventive and Proactive Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance on critical production equipment, including welders, cutting systems, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment.
• Identify early signs of wear, deterioration, and potential equipment failure before they become larger production issues.
• Help develop, improve, and execute preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen equipment reliability and uptime.
• Look beyond the immediate repair to identify opportunities to prevent recurring problems.

• Work closely with production, engineering, and plant leadership to resolve equipment challenges and improve operational performance.

Physical & Work Environment

This is a hands-on, active manufacturing maintenance role, and the physical nature of the work is an important part of the job. Technicians should be prepared to:

• Stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Safely lift and handle materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work around operating equipment, moving machinery, and production activity.
• Work in a manufacturing environment where noise levels and temperatures may vary depending on the area of the plant and the work being performed.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or equivalent experience in the installation, setup, and service of computer-controlled equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge in: PLC and computer-controlled equipment, industrial electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical systems and machine repair.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and collaborate effectively with a team.
• A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning across electrical, mechanical, automation, and safety disciplines.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using CMMS or other computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience developing or improving preventive maintenance procedures and programs.
