Role Description
If you’re a SEO Executive you will assist with:
- Keyword research, SERP analysis, and competitor research to support SEO initiatives
- On-page SEO tasks such as optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking
- Content optimization by working with content writers to align content with search intent and SEO best practices
- SEO checks / technical audit including site speed, indexing status, broken links
- Link-building strategies and managing outreach campaigns
- Monitoring keyword rankings and basic SEO performance metrics using SEO tools
- Staying updated on Google algorithm updates and SEO trends
- Supporting the SEO team with ad-hoc tasks and project requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience or strong foundational knowledge in SEO
- Strong understanding of SEO principles: on-page, off-page & technical SEO
- Exposure to using ChatGPT or AI tools for SEO research, ideation, or content support
- Understanding that AI outputs require review, editing, and validation
- Willingness to learn proper AI usage as part of SEO workflows
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS and SEO plugins
- Basic understanding of HTML structure
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to support in both execution and optimization work
- Uses data and insights (not guesswork) to improve SEO outcomes
- Clear and effective communication with team members
