About the Position

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular imaging, and small parts assessments.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, articulating each step with empathy and clarity.
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the best possible diagnostic images are obtained.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively, reporting any issues immediately.
• Document all procedures in detail and maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical record system.
• Continually update your knowledge of advancements in ultrasound practices and imaging technologies.

Educational Background

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
