Patient Recruitment Manager

ALSA Research is an established, independently owned clinical research site network conducting clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. We are expanding our recruitment function and seeking a hands‑on Patient Recruitment Manager to oversee and actively support patient enrollment across our studies. The Patient Recruitment Manager will spend a significant portion of their time speaking directly with prospective study participants, while also overseeing additional recruiting team members responsible for outbound and inbound lead calling. The role includes managing recruitment workflows, monitoring campaign performance, and supporting community‑based outreach efforts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, is comfortable in a call‑heavy environment, and understands how direct‑to‑consumer marketing supports clinical trial enrollment. Prior management experience is not required, but comfort providing day‑to‑day guidance and oversight is important. The position may be remote or based in our Connecticut or New York City offices. Compensation based on experience. Responsibilities Participant Outreach & Lead Management Conduct inbound and outbound calls to prospective study participants Perform preliminary eligibility screening and route qualified participants appropriately Provide a professional, empathetic experience for all potential participants Maintain accurate documentation of recruitment activity and outcomes Recruitment Oversight & Performance Tracking Manage and support additional recruiters responsible for lead calling Monitor call volume, conversion rates, enrollment progress, and pipeline health Identify recruitment bottlenecks and recommend workflow or process improvements Campaign & Marketing Support Oversee and support direct‑to‑consumer recruitment campaigns Monitor lead quality and provide feedback to improve campaign performance Ensure recruitment messaging aligns with protocol, IRB, and regulatory requirements Community & Referral Outreach Conduct outreach to local medical practices, clinics, and healthcare providers Engage community organizations or groups to raise awareness of clinical trials Support referral‑based recruitment initiatives and community visibility efforts Work closely with site leadership, coordinators, and investigators to align recruitment with study needs Coordinate handoffs between recruitment and site operations teams to support smooth enrollment Qualifications Required Strong verbal communication skills with comfort spending time on the phone Prior experience in customer service, patient outreach, call‑center, sales, or lead management roles Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple studies and priorities simultaneously Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Nice‑to‑have Prior experience in healthcare, clinical research, or clinical trials Familiarity with direct‑to‑consumer marketing or advertising campaigns Experience with Facebook advertising or digital lead generation Experience working with CRM, CTMS, or lead tracking systems Informal leadership or mentoring experience Schedule & Compensation Hours Full‑time, typically Monday–Friday during standard business and calling hours; flexibility may be discussed based on recruitment needs.
