As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at our facility, you will play a vital role in empowering patients to achieve their highest level of independence and well-being. About the Role:
As a COTA, you will work closely with occupational therapists to design and implement treatment plans that focus on patients' daily living skills, mobility, and overall functionality. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting patients with exercises, activities, and daily living tasks to improve their independence and mobility
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals
Providing education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for daily living and mobility
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
