Retail Shift Leader

Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) Location: 5808 FM 1960, Houston, Texas 77069 Pay: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience. Overview EZCORP, a leader in retail pawn and financing services, is hiring a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) to supervise daily store operations, insure high-quality customer service, and develop store staff for future leadership roles. This full‑time position offers a structured career path, competitive wages, uncapped bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships with customers. Process loans and extensions and negotiate satisfactory terms for pawned items. Perform opening and closing store procedures. Supervise, coach, and motivate the store team. Assist in training new staff and fostering a positive store culture. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization capabilities. Ability to read and manage customer needs and resolve conflicts. Legal ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics) is a plus.
