Job Title: Cook Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Cook in our prep department where you will play a crucial role in the food manufacturing process. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, contributing to the production of sandwiches, wraps, burritos, and more for vending machines and large tech clients.

• Prepare and cook food items in a food manufacturing environment.
• Work efficiently in the prep department to ensure timely production.
• Assemble ingredients into sandwiches or wraps on a production line.
• Adhere to food safety and GMP guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Previous cooking experience in a food manufacturing or food prep environment.
• Proficiency in English for communication and instruction comprehension.

• Experience with food prepping and cooking.
• Knife skills for efficient and safe food preparation.

The work environment is a cold food manufacturing facility, requiring appropriate attire to stay warm. The position requires adherence to food GMP guidelines, and all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided except for personal cold weather gear. The schedule includes early morning shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and from 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, with Sundays and Thursdays off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.

The pay range for this position is $21.57 - $21.57/hr.
