Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping Receiving Clerk for a warehouse facility in Conroe, TX. In this role, you will verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders, inspect parts and materials, update the ERP system to receive and label product, and prepare outgoing shipments for pickup. Training is provided on inspection procedures and ERP data entry.
Pay: $16-$20/hr (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Location: Conroe, TX Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Primary workplace language(s): English / Spanish Work Environment: Warehouse Responsibilities- Inspect incoming parts and materials against specifications, drawings, and documents using tape measures and dimensional measuring instruments.
- Update the ERP system to accurately receive, record, and label incoming product.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to identify finished goods ready to ship, and confirm they are pulled and packaged.
- Wrap, strap, label, and stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Complete shipping paperwork and documentation for outgoing freight.
- Schedule pickups with predetermined freight carriers.
- 1+ year of experience in a shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory role.
- Experience using dimensional measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, or gauges.
- Familiarity with reading packing slips, purchase orders, or shipping documents.
- Experience operating a pallet jack.
- Prior warehouse or forklift experience.
- Exposure to freight scheduling or carrier coordination.
- Basic computer skills and experience with data entry or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
