Automotive Mechanic

C&L Truck Repair is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Truck Technician to join our team. Responsibilities Diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks and commercial vehicles Performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and general repairs Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, and drivability issues Working on medium‑duty and heavy‑duty trucks Completing repairs accurately and safely Communicating clearly with management regarding repair needs, parts, and timelines Maintaining a clean and organized work area Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent necessary Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic A valid driver’s license is necessary Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs 3–7 years of experience working on diesel trucks (towing industry experience is a plus) Solid knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, etc. Ability to work independently and efficiently Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but not required) Must provide your own tools Compensation Hourly rate: $30 - $35 #J-18808-Ljbffr C&L Autobody
