Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Dual Modality CT Tech/Xray Tech to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays. The candidate will work independently to ensure accurate, safe, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and X-ray examinations with proficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and position pediatric and adult patients, adhering to safety and immobilization protocols.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and accessories, ensuring proper sterilization and safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately, including patient consent and chart entries.
• Recognize and address patient fears, providing reassurance and support during exams.
• Observe bio-safety and radiation safety rules consistently, minimizing risks.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
• NYSDOH licensed and ARRT certified.
• Demonstrate proficiency in diagnostic, fluoroscopic, and portable exam procedures.
• Capable of working independently and unsupervised.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach.
