Medical Practice Customer Service Representative

Join a leading healthcare organization as a Medical Practice Customer Service Representative and serve as the first point of contact for patients in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. In this role, you'll help create an exceptional patient experience by coordinating appointments, managing patient registration, verifying insurance, and supporting daily front-office operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and care.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in/check-out.
• Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Verify insurance and update patient demographic information.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system.
• Support billing documentation and other administrative functions.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service, medical office, healthcare, or call center experience preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, registration, insurance verification, or EMR systems is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Work Environment

• Full-time, onsite position.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
