About the Role:

The Project Manager IV plays a critical leadership role in overseeing complex, high-impact projects from initiation through completion within the United States. This position is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations. The role requires strategic planning, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to align project objectives with organizational goals. The Project Manager IV will lead diverse teams, manage resources effectively, and communicate progress and challenges to senior leadership. Ultimately, this role drives project success by fostering innovation, maintaining quality standards, and adapting to evolving business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in project management, including leading large and complex projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with successful delivery outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience managing projects in a regulated industry or with compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with change management principles and tools.
• Demonstrated success in managing remote or distributed teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while managing risks and mitigating issues proactively.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data and Medical Review, to ensure seamless project progress.
• Monitor project performance metrics and provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure clarity of project goals.

• Manage and respond to communications with CMS Division of Investigative Support (DIS)

• Receive legal documents and ensure timely notification to the appropriate parties

• Conduct comprehensive file reviews related to the payment suspensions workload

• Manage and oversee the entire payment suspensions workload, including tracking new suspension requests, monitoring case progress, ensuring timely follow‑up with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating all necessary actions to support the suspension process from initiation through resolution.

Analytical skills are essential for assessing project risks, resource allocation, and performance metrics to make informed decisions. Effective communication skills enable the manager to clearly convey project status, expectations, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management software supports detailed planning, tracking, and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability. Additionally, negotiation and conflict resolution skills are frequently applied to manage vendor relationships and resolve team or stakeholder issues, fostering a collaborative project environment.
