As a Retail Associate at Columbia Sportswear, you will serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring exceptional in‑store experiences through positive customer interaction. You will support store leadership and uphold the company's mission of “Connecting Active People with Their Passions.” Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and respond to consumer questions or issues regarding product features, benefits, and availability. Engage with consumers to understand needs and preferences, demonstrate merchandise, and make suitable product suggestions. Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety. Retrieve merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations. Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program enrollment) efficiently and accurately. Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow accurately and efficiently. Qualifications No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred. 2 (or fewer) years of experience in a similar position or specialization. Skill operating inventory and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and various retail software tools. Minimum age 16 years. Benefits Part‑time employees receive a 401(k) plan with company match.
