Quality Manager

Quality Manager

The Quality Manager is responsible for the direction and management of all Quality Department functions. The Quality Manager guides the team through auditing procedures, maintains industry standards, assists with inspection to ensure quality and problems solves as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the inspection department staff
  • Oversee department workflow
  • Prepare for annual certifications and audits
  • Maintain department objectives
  • Ensure accurate reporting and record keeping
  • Maintain knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards
  • Collaborate with team to set quality benchmarks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of quality management (10 years preferred) in the electro-manufacturing/Defense industry
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS 9100 and other quality metrics/auditing procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Quality Management Systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Familiar industry quality standards and processes
