Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

CVOR RN – Cardiac Surgery

Schedule: 2x8 / 2x12 rotation Typical hours: shifts scheduled between 06:30 and 23:00 Call: required

Requirements:

• Total OR experience: minimum 3 years
• Cardiac/vascular experience: at least 2 years dedicated
• CVOR: minimum 1 year CVOR experience
• Trauma: minimum 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility
• Transplant: 2+ years experience
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH (NIHSS), ACLS
• EMR: EPIC required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
• Assist in the preparation of the OR and in various cardiac and vascular surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions during and after procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high quality of care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Document patient care activities and procedures in the electronic medical record.
