About Us
- S&S Pipeworks, (facility located in Coldspring, TX), is a leading provider of carbon and stainless-steel piping fabrication services for the waterworks industry.
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitters / Welders to lay out, fabricate, and weld out flanged piping systems and related equipment in a shop environment. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, preparing pipes, and performing high-quality welds (TIG/MiG/Fluxcore) in various positions to meet specifications.
Important Hiring Information
- Home every evening. Zero travel required.
- Small-to-medium sized family owned business.
- Business hours are (4) 10 hour days Monday-Thursday.
- Positions are currently 1099 contract with minimal hours over 40.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fitting operations according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate material preparation and assembly
- Handle materials safely and efficiently during fabrication
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with standards
- Operate and maintain welding and fitting equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in welding and fitting
- Proficiency in blueprint interpretation
- Strong measurement and inspection skills
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Attention to detail to ensure quality outcomes
- Expertise in pipe welding techniques
