Student Information system and Data Steward Administrator

This position is in-person at the administration building in Columbus, Nebraska. This is not a remote position. Student Information System and Data Steward Administrator Columbus Public School District is hiring a Student Information System and Data Steward Administrator. The position requires a degree in Computer Science, Education Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in student information system management, with a strong focus on Synergy SIS. Experience with state and federal student data reporting requirements is preferred. Responsibilities Oversee and manage the operations and functionality of Synergy SIS across the district, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established standards and policies. Configure and maintain Synergy modules and functionalities such as online registration, scheduling, gradebook, assessment, etc. Act as a liaison between school stakeholders and the IT department to optimize Synergy's usage, generate reports, and ensure compliance with reporting guidelines. Provide support and guidance to school staff by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Synergy. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of student data within Synergy SIS and other integrated data systems used by the Nebraska Department of Education. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Education Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 2-5 years of experience managing student information systems, preferably Synergy SIS.
