Our tenured team includes boarded specialists in Anesthesiology, Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery, in addition to ER and Urgent Care clinicians. A Rehabilitation Service Built for Growth You’ll have access to a thoughtfully designed rehabilitation department equipped for both wet and dry therapies, including: Dedicated aquatic space with a water treadmill Spacious dry rehabilitation gym for athletes, seniors, and post-operative patients PEMF beds and Assisi loops Cutting-edge laser therapy Separate wet and dry treatment spaces with a pass-through door, allowing simultaneous treatments This is an opportunity to take an already well-equipped service and help define its continued growth, clinical offerings, and role within the broader SAGE specialty community. Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance CE allowance and professional development support Paid continuing education Professional memberships, dues, and licensing fees Paid time off Retirement savings options Employee assistance programs Collaborative specialty environment with opportunities for mentorship and cross-specialty learning In your day-to-day, you will: Lead and grow the Rehabilitation service within an established specialty hospital Develop individualized rehabilitation plans for post-operative, neurologic, orthopedic, geriatric, and athletic patients Utilize aquatic and dry rehabilitation modalities, including water treadmill therapy, PEMF, laser therapy, and other available technologies Collaborate closely with Surgery, Neurology, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialty teams on shared patients Build and strengthen relationships with referring veterinarians and serve as a trusted rehabilitation resource for the community Help expand the scope and clinical offerings of the Rehabilitation service in alignment with hospital priorities Educate clients on rehabilitation plans, expectations, and at-home care Mentor and collaborate with rehabilitation technicians and support staff Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients throughout the rehabilitation process Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for California veterinary licensure Certification in Canine Rehabilitation (CCRT, CCRP, CCRV, or VMRT) Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA, CVMA, or CVAT) Small animal clinical experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care A passion for rehabilitation, continued learning, and advancing specialty medicine An interest in leading and growing a Rehabilitation service Join Us At Ethos, this isn't just a job—it's an opportunity to practice medicine at the highest level and help shape the future of veterinary care.
