Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a food and beverage distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate with drivers and facility personnel, and maintain access records for trailers, shipments, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping and receiving areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
