Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric Physician to conduct Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) via telehealth for individuals based in Texas. This role focuses exclusively on objective evaluation and documentation , without providing treatment or ongoing care.

The physician will review medical records, perform structured psychiatric evaluations, and deliver a professional, preliminary opinion regarding an individual s functional limitations as they relate to the essential duties of their occupation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical and occupational records
• Perform structured telehealth psychiatric evaluations
• Assess mental status, functional limitations, and work capacity
• Deliver clear, concise IME reports with an easy to follow template
• Ensure timely accurate documentation
• Maintain objectivity and ethical standards

Role Details

• No treatment, prescribing, or ongoing care
• No physician-patient relationship
• Evaluation and reporting only

Qualifications

• MD or DO, Psychiatry
• Active Texas license
• Board certified/eligible preferred
• IME, disability, or forensic experience a plus
• Strong documentation and telehealth skills
