Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HWL Program - CHOA.

Additional Details:

Must be up to date on current COVID-19 vaccine requirements before start of assignment. Nicotine-free facility; negative drug test with nicotine required.

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years pediatric experience required. Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience preferred; will consider level 2.

Special Requests: RTO must be included at time of submission.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float position for outpatient facilities CAP/MT. Vernon. Must also float for assignment in ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas.

14 days maximum time off

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
