Endoscopy RN Registered Nurse

Schedule:

Shifts:

Opening: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Closing: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Alternate shifts: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience required

Prior travel experience required

AHA BLS certification

AHA ACLS certification

AHA PALS certification preferred

Experience in large, teaching facility required

Experience starting IVs, assessing H+P info, and post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation

Experience with EPIC from within the past 2 years required

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients during procedures.

Assess patient history and physical information as part of patient evaluation.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure best practices in patient care.

Participate in post-procedure recovery and evaluations.

Compliance / Notes:

All work history information must be complete, including bed count, EMR, and facility type.

COVID-19 and flu declinations accepted; proof or declinations should be included in the packet.

Reliable transportation is required as public transportation is not accessible in this area.

Floating to other units is not required.

Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays.

No block scheduling is available.
