Quality Control Inspector

If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.Identify and report defects or non-conformities, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality protocols.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and improve quality control procedures.Assist in training new team members on quality control practices and standards.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education in quality assurance or a related field is a plus.Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role.Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and specifications.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.You should be proficient in:Continuous Improvement5 Why (Root Cause Analysis Method)ISO 22000AS9100 Quality SystemsAS9102Operational Metrics & KPI ManagementOperational Risk ManagementAS9100 ExperienceMachines & technologies you'll use:Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)Measurement GaugesCalipers and Micrometers #J-18808-Ljbffr
