Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cerner experience Description: Traveling Registered Nurse position available in Med Surg Telemetry. The facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. Patient care includes cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. The unit profile consists of 24 telemetry beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. The equipment includes Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner EHR. Supervision is provided by a nurse supervisor. The patient population includes generalized cardiac patients, ranging from young adults to elderly adults. Candidates should have experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo. Preferred experience includes Cerner EHR. Common diagnoses/treatments include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre & post care for cardiac catheterizations. The work environment is family-oriented. All colors of scrubs are acceptable.
