Job Title

CT Scan Technologist / Radiology – Nights

Location

Carlsbad, NM | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights – 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday | On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Provide CT care to patients for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a radiologist
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Perform basic radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Participate in on-call responsibilities — expected 4 days of call per month

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT certification in CT required
• CT and X-ray experience required
• Active New Mexico Radiologic Technology license required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Medhost EMR system
• Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging environments
• Experience with contrast media administration and sterile/surgical procedure protocols
