Shifts: Either 11a-9:30p or 1p-11:30p with flexibility


Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in the vibrant city of Rochester, NY. This role focuses on providing exceptional support in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties. As a travel Surgical Technologist, you will work in a dynamic hospital environment, enhancing your expertise alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Technologist
  • Support surgical procedures in specialties such as gastric bypass, hernia repair, and total knee replacement
  • Assist in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure sharps safety
  • Participate in the Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure
  • Manage sterilization and decontamination processes
Requirements of the Surgical Technologist
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required unless worked in NY prior to 2015
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in surgical technology
  • Prior Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Must present a valid NY state license
  • Experience with a range of surgical procedures as listed
