Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid pesticide applicator license or certification as required by the state of employment. Experience in pest control or a related field, preferably with knowledge of specialty pest species. Ability to safely handle and apply pesticides and other pest control products. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Preferred Qualifications Additional certifications in specialty pest control areas such as termite, bed bug, or wildlife management. Experience using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques. Familiarity with computerized pest control management systems and reporting software. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Customer service experience in a technical or field service environment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed inspections of properties to identify pest species, infestation levels, and potential entry points. Develop and execute customized pest control treatment plans using chemical, biological, and mechanical methods. Apply pesticides and other control agents safely and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate records of treatments, inspections, and client communications for regulatory compliance and service quality. Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend ongoing maintenance plans to prevent future infestations. Operate and maintain pest control equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
